When you think about heaven, do you know that you are good enough? Looking back at all the things you done, will it be enough to get into heaven. After all, your not a murderer and you are pretty nice. The answer is it is not enough.
What is enough? Accepting Christ as our Savior. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. That is the only thing that anyone can do to spend eternity in heaven.
Heaven isn’t the reward for doing good things. It is a place where God lives and only a sinless person can be. We all have sinned. So, there is no hope that we can achieve heaven except by the atoning sacrifice of Jesus.
When we follow Christ, we are imputed with His righteousness and can stand boldly in the presence of God. On our own, our good works are like dirty rags. With Christ, we can come to God as clean, perfect, and holy people. Call on the name of the Lord and be saved.
Only Christ is enough.
